All Elite Wrestling‘s latest episode of Dynamite gave fans something to talk about with heel champion Chris Jericho offering Jon Moxley the opportunity to join The Inner Circle, but another big heel appears in the works.
Several subtle cues during Kenny Omega and Hangman Page’s tag team victory over Shawn Spears and Kip Sabian could foreshadow a heel turn from the Hangman.
First, Page left Omega hanging on High-Ten early in the mat. In addition, Omega appeared to have the match won, only to have Page tag himself in to get the victory after hitting a Buckshot Lariat on Sabian. Finally, Omega went for a celebratory, post-match hug with Page, but the Hangman backed away.
This may not add up to a dark turn for Page, but in-ring storytelling in wrestling often uses subtle body language like this to let viewers now something is coming. As a result, don’t be surprised if Hangman Page goes bad. After all, he’s already left The Elite.
Some eagle-eyed social media followers of Page may also have noticed he re-tweeted a tweet by The Inner Circle’s Sammy Guevara with a parody vlog of Being The Elite titled “Being The Inner Circle.”
