AEW Commentator Jim Ross Shares Post-Cancer Surgery Photo

AEW commentator and Senior Advisor “Good Ole’ J.R.” Jim Ross took to Twitter several weeks ago, where he posted a photo of his ankle, while also revealing he had been dealing with a skin cancer issue for over a year now. The WWE Hall of Famer then confirmed he has to start doing radiation treatments soon and he has 22 radiation treatments to do. JR then said he does not plan on missing any work time with AEW despite having a grueling treatment schedule in the month of November.

“Good Ole’ J.R.” Jim Ross then revealed on an episode of his “Grilling JR” podcast that this week was going to be a touch and go week for him and on Monday morning he was supposed to get two cancer spots cut out of his back, but that he will still appear on Dynamite. Jim Ross also revealed that on Monday after he does the surgery, he would have to go to his oncologist and they will make him a boot, which is what you need to wear so the radiation machine has a target.

Jim Ross took to his Twitter account a little while back and shared a photo of his back after getting surgery done, while also hyping up and promoting last night’s episode of Dynamite inside the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
