Last week’s House Of The Dragon AEW Dynamite was able to draw 957,000 viewers, while last Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite was able to draw a total of 1.049 million viewers, Showbuzz Daily and Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports.
This total is up 9.61% from last week’s AEW Dynamite, which drew a 0.34 rating in the 18-49 key demo. This past Wednesday night’s 0.34 rating is up 13.33% from last week’s rating of 0.30 in the key 18-49 demo. This past Wednesday’s rating of 0.34 in the 18-49 key demo represents a total of around 444,000 viewers that watched last Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite from that demo. This is up 13.55% from this past week’s 391,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
Last Wednesday’s live AEW Dynamite episode inside the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio featured Dr. Britt Baker taking on KiLynn King in Women’s Division Singles action, a face-off segment between “The Wizard” Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia, Ricky Starks addressing the fans, Billy Gunn battling Colten Gunn in Singles action, one-half of the current IWGP Heavyweight, AAA and ROH World Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood taking on Jay Lethal in a Singles Match, CM Punk battling Jon Moxley in a Title vs. Title Unification Match for the Undisputed AEW World Title and Death Triangle (PAC, Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix) taking on United Empire (Will Ospreay, Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) in an AEW World Trios Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match, which was the main event.
The viewership number of last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode, which drew the highest total audience since the February 9 show and the highest key demo rating since the July 6 show as well as the third-best total audience of the year so far and the ninth-best key demo rating of the year so far, was down 10.49% from the same week in 2021, while the key 18-49 demo rating was down 29.16% from the same week last year.
Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #1 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.34 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is up from last week’s #2 ranking. Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode ranked #31 in viewership for the night on cable, which is up from last week’s #34 ranking.
