AEW Dynamite Viewership Slightly Down For Wednesday’s Show

Last week’s Fight For The Fallen episode of AEW Dynamite was able to draw a total of 976,000 viewers, while last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite was able to draw a total of 938,000 viewers, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

This total is down 3.89% from last week’s AEW Dynamite episode, which drew a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 key demo. Last Wednesday night’s 0.32 rating is down 3.03% from last week’s rating of 0.33 in the key 18-49 demo. Last Wednesday night’s 0.32 rating in the 18-49 key demo represents 417,000 total viewers that watched AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday night from that demo. This is down 3.02% from this past week’s 430,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.

Last Wednesday night’s live episode of AEW Dynamite from inside the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio featured the return of The Undisputed Elite, Christian Cage facing Matt Hardy in Singles action, Toni Storm and AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa facing Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter in Women’s Division Tag Team action, Orange Cassidy taking on Jay Lethal in a Singles Match, Powerhouse Hobbs in Singles action against Ren Jones, The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and “Platinum” Max Caster) facing The Gunn Club (Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) in a Dumpster Match and ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta taking on Chris Jericho with the winner challenging Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley for his title next week on AEW Dynamite, which was the main event.

The viewership number of last Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite was down 14.88% from the same week last year, while the key 18-49 demo rating was down 30.43% from the same week last year. The AEW Dynamite episode last year was the Homecoming episode.

Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #1 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is up from last week’s #2 ranking. Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode ranked #34 in viewership for the night on cable, which is down from last week’s #33 ranking.
