Last week’s AEW Dynamite was able to draw a total of 966,000 viewers, while this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode was able to draw a total of 945,000 viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily and Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.
This total is down 2.17% from last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which drew a rating of 0.40 in the key 18-49 demo. Last Wednesday night’s rating of 0.40 is up 14.28% from last week’s rating of 0.35 in the 18-49 key demo. Last Wednesday night’s 0.40 rating in the 18-49 key demographic represents around 516,000 total viewers that watched this past Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite from that demo. This is up 12.17% from last week’s 460,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
Last Wednesday’s live episode of AEW Dynamite from inside the Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida featured the fallout from Revolution, Leyla Hirsch taking on Thunder Rosa in an AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match, Chris Jericho addressing Eddie Kingston, JD Drake and Anthony Henry taking on Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley in Tag Team action, AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page putting his title on the line against Dante Martin, an emergency board meeting for A.H.F.O. and Sammy Guevara defending the AEW TNT Title against Scorpio Sky, which was the main event.
The viewership number of this past Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite, which drew the third-lowest audience since their move to TBS and which key demo rating was in the middle of what AEW Dynamite has been doing since their move from TNT, which was higher than four episodes and lower than four others, was up 27.19% from the same week this past year, which went head-to-head against WWE’s NXT, while the key 18-49 demo rating was up 25% from the same week in 2021. Last year’s episode of Dynamite was also the post-Revolution show.
Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #1 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is up from last week’s #8 ranking. Last Wednesday’s Dynamite episode ranked #50 in viewership for the night on cable, which is up from last week’s #62 ranking.
