This total is up 5.08% from last week’s AEW Dynamite, which drew a 0.38 rating in the key 18-49 demo. Last Wednesday’s rating of 0.38 is down 5.0% from last week’s 0.40 rating in the 18-49 key demo. Last Wednesday’s rating of 0.38 in the 18-49 key demo represents around 496,000 total viewers that watched last Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite from that demo. This is down 3.87% from last week’s 516,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
Last Wednesday’s St. Patrick’s Day Slam live episode of AEW Dynamite from inside the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas featured Adam Cole and reDRagon (Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish) facing AEW World Champion Hangman Page and AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus in Tag Team action, Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson going up against Chuck Taylor and Wheeler Yuta in Tag Team action, AEW TNT Champion Scorpio Sky defending his AEW TNT Title against Wardlow, Chris Jericho hosting a Jericho Appreciation Society Commencement, The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) facing Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) in a Tag Team Match and Britt Baker putting the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line against Thunder Rosa in a Steel Cage Match, which was the main event.
The viewership number of last Wednesday night’s St. Patrick’s Day Slam episode of AEW Dynamite, which drew the sixth-best viewership out of 11 episodes and the audience was in the middle of what the show has been doing since the move to TBS and which key demo rating was the fourth-lowest since their move to TBS, was up 35.7% from the same week in 2021, which went head-to-head against WWE’s NXT, while the key 18-49 demo rating was up 29.3% from the same week this past year. Last year’s episode of Dynamite was also the St. Patrick’s Day Slam show.
Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #6 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.38 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is down from last week’s #1 ranking. Last Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite ranked #52 in viewership for the night on cable, which is down from last week’s #50 ranking.
