Last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was able to draw a total of 878,000 viewers, while last Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite was able to draw a total of 1.023 million viewers, Showbuzz Daily and Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports.
This total is up 16.51% from last week’s AEW Dynamite episode, which drew a rating of 0.36 in the key 18-49 demo. This past Wednesday’s rating of 0.36 is up 16.12% from last week’s 0.31 rating in the key 18-49 demo. Last Wednesday’s 0.36 rating in the 18-49 key demographic represents 470,000 viewers that watched this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite from that demo. This is up 16.34% from last week’s 404,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
Last Wednesday’s live post-Forbidden Door and Blood & Guts AEW Dynamite from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan featured Christian Cage’s segment, Orange Cassidy facing Ethan Page in a Singles Match, AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill defending her title against Leila Grey, Danhausen and FTR’s Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood taking on Max Caster and The Gunn Club (Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) in Trios action and the Blood & Guts Match between Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker) and The Blackpool Combat Combat Club (Eddie Kingston, Santana, Ortiz, Claudio Castagnoli, ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta and reigning Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley), which was the main event.
The viewership number of this past Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite, which marked the first time the show has gone back over 1 million viewers since the March 23rd show, which drew 1.046 million and which episode drew the best key demo rating since only June 1, which drew a rating of 0.40 in the key 18-49 demo for the post-Double Or Nothing show, was up 15.86% from the same week last year, while the key 18-49 demo rating was up 2.85% from the same week last year.
Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #1 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.36 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is even from last week’s #1 ranking. Last Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite ranked #32 in viewership for the night on cable, which is up from last week’s #38 ranking.
