This total is up 16.23% from last week’s AEW Dynamite episode, which drew a rating of 0.40 in the key 18-49 demo. Last Wednesday night’s 0.40 rating is up 29.03% from last week’s 0.31 rating in the 18-49 key demo. Last Wednesday night’s rating of 0.40 in the 18-49 key demo represents around 517,000 total viewers that watched last Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite from that demo. This is up 27.34% from last week’s 406,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
Last Wednesday night’s live episode of AEW Dynamite from inside the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut featured a Tag Team Battle Royal to determine the first of 2 opponents for Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus, FTW Champion “Absolute” Ricky Starks taking on Dark Order’s Preston “10” Vance in a Face Of The Revolution Qualifying Match, Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston in a face-to-face confrontation, Malakai Black and Brody King battling PAC and Penta Oscuro in a Tag Team Match, AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill defending her title against The Bunny and Bryan Danielson battling Daniel Garcia in a one-on-one match, which was the main event.
The viewership number of this past Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which tied with the January 5 TBS premiere episode of the show for the fourth-best audience of the year so far and which was almost in the middle for total viewers and key demo compared to the other episodes on TBS, was up 21.5% from the same week in 2021, which went head-to-head against WWE’s NXT, while the key 18-49 demo rating was up 14.3% from the same week in 2021.
Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #3 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is even from last week’s #3 ranking. This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode ranked #41 in viewership for the night on cable, which is down from last week’s #39 ranking.
