AEW Management Spoke With Athena And Jody Threat After Their Match On Dark

Top AEW Star Athena and AEW enhancement talent Jody Threat had a match against each other on a recent episode of AEW Dark and it appeared that The Fallen Goddess was working stiff with Jody Threat during the match. According to Fightful Select, there was a spot in the match where Jody slipped on what her comeback was supposed to be and she ended up getting a little lost, so she asked Athena what was next in the match and things turned out into what took place in the match.

The report also states that AEW management spoke with Athena and Jody Threat after their match on AEW Dark to make sure that everything was okay between the two and a number of people were confident that Threat had no problem with the physicality, but it still shouldn’t have happened the way it did. Jody Threat reportedly did not complain and there was no backstage issue between the two and a source even said that Threat is not big on the attention that comes from situations like these and that she tries to keep herself away from the political side of things in pro wrestling.
