AEW Planning Crossover With Netflix’s GLOW

All Elite Wrestling President and CEO Tony Khan made it abundantly clear in the past that he is very much interested in doing some sort of a crossover between the company’s women’s division and Netflix’s GLOW series.

One of Netflix’s GLOW Star Awesome Kong, who is also one of the top stars in AEW’s Women’s Division could have just given a confirmation that this collaboration will be taking place in the near future.

During an interview she had with Collider Live, Awesome Kong said that her GLOW cast-mates were very excited for her return to wrestling. She also said that there have been discussions on the possibilities of what their collaboration would look like.

This is what Awesome Kong said:

“Collectively, [GLOW cast-mates] were very excited for my return (to wrestling). They celebrated that and thought it was absolutely awesome. I can’t make any promises, but I believe we might see someone (from GLOW) visit (AEW) at least. Could be cool. Nice little moment.”

“There have been discussions about the possibilities of what that would look like and what we would do. Right now, there is a plan. And once those plans are realized, then we can get ‘loosey-goosey’ and see what else we can go onto next. We would have to be careful and make sure things fit together nice and it’s something the fans can appreciate and not ridicule. Ya’ll, sometimes it’s hard to please them.”
