Big Swole, who is married to WWE Star Cedric Alexander and who has really proven herself since making her AEW in-ring debut at the All Out PPV Event in August 2019, when she competed in the Casino Battle Royale, signed with the promotion in December 2019. She last competed on Dynamite on the October 14th Anniversary episode, when she lost a Singles Matchup to then-AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida. Swole’s last AEW match took place on the September 21st episode of Dark, when she beat Allie Katch in Singles action.
Swole recently took to Twitter and announced that the past couple of months she learnt to deal with a work-related stress with strength she didn’t know she had and she thanks God for her loving family as they got her through some of the roughest months of her life, but she realized what she needed to do, which was to speak with AEW President Tony Khan as well as other AEW officials and she decided to not renew her contract with the company.
Big Swole also said that this was a hard decision, but it is something she needed and she is grateful for how understanding AEW is as well as how they could mutually come to this agreement. She also said she enjoyed her time with AEW and she wishes them all the best and she is proud to say that she lived her dreams while making a difference.
Prior to announcing her departure from All Elite Wrestling, Big Swole took some time off from in-ring action due to her Crohn’s Disease flaring up. There’s no word yet on what she has planned for her pro wrestling future, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.
