AEW Star Cody Rhodes Announced For Snoop Dogg’s NYE Special

A blockbuster announcement was recently made by All Elite Wrestling that legendary hip-hop music icon Snoop Dogg will be making an appearance on the company’s January 6th New Year’s Smash special, which is the second night of AEW’s New Year’s Smash special and one night prior to Snoop Dogg’s premiere of the TBS series the “Go Big Show,” which he co-hosts with All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.

Speaking of Snoop Dogg and the premier of the TBS series the “Go Big Show,” according to Variety, AEW Executive Vice President “The American Nightmare” Cody is scheduled to be a part of legendary hip-hop music icon Snoop Dogg’s virtual New Year’s Eve special, which will be presented by the “Go-Big Show.”

Snoop Dogg’s virtual New Year’s Eve special will livestream from Snoop’s home, the Snoop Compound, on December 31st at 11PM ET. Other guests announced for Snoop Dogg’s New Year’s special include “Go-Big” co-talent Bert Kreischer, Rosario Dawson, and Jennifer Nettles, among others. The special will follow the Los Angeles County’s COVID-19 safety protocols and guidelines. TBS is donating to the Snoop Youth Football League in support of the event.

Snoop Dogg’s virtual New Year’s Eve special will include his guests roasting 2020, dancing into 2021, a special sword-swallowing stunt by “Go-Big” contestant Andrew Stanton as well as a tour of the Snoop Compound.

The special will also feature a number of Snoop’s “illustrious friends” who will drop by to participate in impromptu performances and other acts. No mention was made though on what Cody will be doing or participating in during Snoop Dogg’s special event.
