A big announcement was recently made by Marvel that AEW Star Nyla Rose will be writing her first-ever project for their “Giant-Size X-Men: Thunderbird #1” comic book, in which she will be teaming up with writer Steve Orlando and artist David Cutler. The Thunderbird character, which is also referred to as John Proudstar, is billed as a legendary hero in the X-Men mythos and is the first X-Man to die. This upcoming issue with Nyla Rose will reportedly mark Thunderbird’s return to the Marvel Universe.
The Thunderbird comic, which is set to be released on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, was created to set Thunderbird up for a bright future on Krakoa and beyond, while also dealing with the ramifications of his recent resurrection. The Thunderbird comic will also see John Proudstar return to a world that is completely different from the one he once knew, while looking to find refuge in a familiar place, and seeking out someone from his past.
AEW Star Nyla Rose recently took to her Twitter to comment on the huge project she will be working on for Marvel.
