Terminus, ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham’s newly-created professional wrestling company, took to their official Twitter account and announced that pro wrestling veteran and AEW Star Serena Deeb will be making an appearance at the promotion’s second only event this coming February in Atlanta, Georgia. Other stars that have already been announced for the show include fellow AEW Star Lio Rush, former WWE Star Leon Ruff, former WWE Star Shane “Swerve” Strickland, Kevin Blackwood, Queen Aminata and Tre’ LaMar.
The promotion’s first-ever event took place on Sunday, January 16th, with several AEW Stars in action including Daniel Garcia, Diamanté, Janai Kai, Lee Moriarty and Baron Black and “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham defending his original ROH World Championship against Josh Alexander in a Pure Rules Match in the main event.
Serena Deeb has had an extremely personal and physical rivalry with Hikaru Shida for a few months now and they are currently at 2 – 2 in the 4 matches they have had so far. During a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Deeb viciously attacked Shida, which was reportedly done as a way to write Shida off of AEW TV and it is believed that once Shida makes her return, they will settle their rivalry.
