AEW Statement On Jimmy Havoc’s Status Following Abuse Allegations

Allegations of abuse by a former girlfriend of Jimmy Havoc surfaced Thursday. Rebecca Crow sent out a tweet alleging that she was in an abusive relationship with the AEW wrestler.

This comes as a flood of abuse and misconduct allegations have surfaced with pro wrestlers from all different promotions all over the world over the last several days.

Crow wrote;

“This story isn’t in any order. A lot of my memory of this abuse is disordered because i was battling drink and substance abuse to cope. That DOES NOT make it invalid. I’m #speakingout because I dont want anyone else to be hurt. And I don’t think i’m alone. TW: relationship abuse.”

It didn’t take long for All Elite Wrestling to respond.

“We wish Jimmy Havoc all the best as he receives treatment and counseling in an effort to overcome the mental health and substance abuse challenges in his life. We are aware of various reports related to Jimmy. We are evaluating his status with our company and will address it when he has successfully completed his rehabilitation.”

Later Havoc’s current tag team partner Kip Sabian released this statement on Twitter.

It’s taken me a day to read through the sickening things have been going on in the shadows. Change is needed to eradicate this culture that has infested the business. I’m so sorry to hear what you’ve had to endure.

For the record Havoc, Sabian and his fiance Penelope Ford are all roommates.
