AEW Title Contender Deletes Controversial Tweet

AEW title contender Nyla Rose got in some hot water with fans over a controversial tweet this weekend.

All Elite Wresting rising star Nyla Rose continues to receive criticism for a tweet she issued over the weekend in defense of her sexual identification.

Rose, who is transgender, responded to a tweet from an Internet troll who called her out as a man. However, many fans feel she crossed the line by alleging the troll was possibly sexually assaulted by his father as a child. Here is the thread, which Rose has now deleted:

Rose is currently scheduled to battle Riho on AEW’s first Dynamite broadcast on TNT on October 3rd in Washington D.C. The winner will earn the honor of becoming the promotion’s first women’s champion. However, Rose seemingly is doing some damage control after fans reacted negatively to her tweet.     C’mon ppl dude disrespected her by calling out her gender. How do you know if the fan whom she responded to is gay and calls his lover daddy. She could have meant it that way
