AEW’s Jeff Hardy Arrested On DUI And Several Other Charges

Former WWE Star and current All Elite Wrestling Star Jeff Hardy ran into trouble on the wrong side of the law once again a little after midnight on Sunday in Volusia County, Florida. According to Volusia County records, the AEW Star was arrested and booked into jail at 12:45AM on charges of Driving While License Canceled/Suspended/Revoked, Violating Restrictions Placed on Drivers License and DUI Alcohol/Drugs Third Offense within 10 Years. The records also show that all of the charges are felony counts, with Jeff Hardy currently being held on a bond that totals $3,500 ($2,500 for the DUI and $500 apiece for the license violations) and that Jeff Hardy is incarcerated at the S. James Foxman Justice Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The County Clerk’s office shows that the AEW Star is scheduled for a court appearance today at 1:30PM local time, with his license charges being second degree misdemeanors and his DUI charges being third degree felony.

This is Jeff Hardy’s 3rd arrest within the past 10 years due to substance or alcohol abuse issues. He was arrest back in 2011 for drug trafficking that led to him being in jail for 10 days. Jeff was then arrested in March 2018 for driving while impaired in Concord, North Carolina and again twice in 2019, once in July for public intoxication in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and in October for driving while impaired in Moore County, North Carolina.

Jeff Hardy is currently advertised to compete in a 3-Way AEW World Title Ladder Match with Matt Hardy against The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and the reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus on tomorrow’s episode of AEW Dynamite, but there is no word yet on if Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy will be pulled from the match due to Jeff Hardy’s arrest and charges.
