AEW’s Plans For Stadium Stampede Match At Double Or Nothing

The first-ever Stadium Stampede Match, which took place at last year’s Double or Nothing PPV, saw The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz) come up short to The Elite (Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Adam Page) in the show’s main event. The inaugural Stadium Stampede Match was reportedly filmed the night prior to the show at the stadium where the Jacksonville Jaguars play football, which is pretty close by to Daily’s Place.

The main event of this Sunday’s Double or Nothing PPV will see the second Stadium Stampede Match take place, where The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz) is set to face The Pinnacle (MJF, FTR, Wardlow and Shawn Spears) in this brutal and barbaric encounter, with an added stipulation that if The Inner Circle were to lose, then they must go their separate ways.

When it was announced that a second Stadium Stampede Match will take place, not only did fans wonder, but so did the spectators and everyone else around the world on how the company would book the layout of the match or if it would be live or taped in advance similar to last year.

According to Fightful Select, they were told the match is said to have a “significant live element to it” and that it would be a “unique live experience,” but aside from that no other details were given.
