All Elite Wrestling Partners with DC Comics

All Elite Wrestling and DC Comics announced a team-up Thursday on Twitter.

The AEW on TNT account tweeted out artwork by Justice League and Flash comics artist Howard Porter. Unsurprisingly, the inaugural AEW World Champion Chris Jericho served as the subject of one of the released images. Here’s the tweet of the stunning artwork:

WarnerMedia used its distribution partners TNT and DC Comics to promote its “Supervillain Weekend” programming this Friday through Sunday (Sept. 27-29). In addition, AEW gets a promotional bump ahead of its TNT debut of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday (Oct. 2).

The second piece of artwork tweeted out on Thursday featured injured AEW star Jon Moxley. Here’s a look at Porter’s rendering of Moxley:

Jericho will team with some mystery partners against Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks on the debut episode of Dynamite next week. Moxley is recovering from a recent MRSA infection in his elbow.
