Another Match Rumored To Be Added To AEW Double Or Nothing

All Elite Wrestling will be having their Double Or Nothing Event this coming Sunday and the lineup is already stacked from top to bottom, but it seems that one more match will be added to the card and it could be a huge Singles Matchup. An announcement was recently made by AEW that “The Icon” Sting won’t be able to make an appearance at the Double Or Nothing Fan Fest tomorrow because he is injured and he is not medically cleared to travel.

It has been speculated the Sting’s injury occurred at the hands of Kyle O’Reilly during an episode of AEW Dynamite, when Kyle O’Reilly used a steel chair on The Icon, but the angle was only done as a way to write the wrestling legend off of AEW television as he previously already had a legitimate injury. Fightful Select reports that All Elite Wrestling has been having discussions of a possible one-on-one match between Darby Allin and Kyle O’Reilly at this Sunday’s Double Or Nothing PPV Event and the idea of the match is that Allin wants revenge for what O’Reilly did to Sting.

The report also mentioned that an angle will be taking place during tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage, which would set up the one-on-one match between Darby Allin and Kyle O’Reilly for Sunday’s AEW Double Or Nothing and shortly after the segment, the match will be made official for the PPV Event. After it was announced that Sting suffered the injury, Darby Allin even took to his Twitter and teased that he will be at Double Or Nothing.
