Anthony Ogogo Injured Ahead Of Match At Double Or Nothing

AEW Star Anthony Ogogo recently spoke with Metro.co.uk, where he revealed that he is suffering from a broken rib while doing a move in training this week. Ogogo also said he did it wrong, which is how he broke his ribs and that he must wrestle Cody Rhodes at Double or Nothing with his injury.

This is what Anthony Ogogo said:

“I’m sitting here now – I’m very, very open and honest, probably too open and honest… But I am who I am, I do what I do. I’ve got a broken rib right now. My rib’s broken because I did a move in training this week. I did it wrong, and I broke a rib. I’m now wrestling Cody, the best wrestler in the world, with a broken rib… And that’s real, that’s not me just saying that. My rib is f***ed.”

It is interesting to note that despite having broken ribs in the past Ogogo still participated in the Olympics when he boxed. Ogogo also dealt with dislocated shoulders and a fractured eye socket when he was boxing and it turns out that he only has about 22% vision left in his left eye.

Anthony Ogogo is set to face Cody Rhodes in Singles action this Sunday at the Double or Nothing Event from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
