Bryan Danielson Still The #1 Contender To Hangman Page

At this past Wednesday night’s Winter Is Coming episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page and Bryan Danielson went to a 60-minute time-limit draw in their AEW World Title Match, but it seems that Bryan Danielson is still the #1 contender to “Hangman” Adam Page and Page’s AEW World Title and that a rematch between the top two AEW Stars will be happening in the near future.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan recently appeared on Busted Open Radio and revealed he is excited for what the future holds for Hangman and Danielson as their feud is far from over and he is also excited for their rematch as Bryan is still the #1 contender to Hangman’s AEW World Title.

This is what Tony Khan said:

“I’ll be honest: I’m excited for what’s coming next between Hangman Page and Bryan Danielson. It’s far from over.” “And I’ll tell you this: Bryan Danielson is still the no. 1 contender. It’s a rematch I’m very much excited to see.”

There’s no word yet on when the rematch between Hangman Page and Bryan Danielson will take place, but there are three events where AEW could have the biggest rematch in company history, the first will be on the January 5th episode of AEW Dynamite, which is the debut episode on TBS, the second will be the Battle of the Belts Special Event on January 8th and the third option could be their Revolution Event on March 6th.
