All Elite Wrestling World Champion Chris Jericho recently opened up his wallet to support former WWE wrestler Brian Knobbs.
Jericho donated $1,500 to the former Nasty Boy to help defray costs of a knee replacement surgery. Knobbs and his tag team partner, Jerry Sags, gained fame as the Nasty Boys, who defeated The Hart Foundation to win the WWF tag team titles at WrestleMania VII.
Knobbs recently suffered a debilitating infection in the knee, forcing him to seek a total knee replacement. Jericho’s donation helped Knobbs’ GoFundMe drive hit its goal of $10,000 to pay for the procedure.
Jericho is no stranger to charitable acts. In the past, he’s helped victims of the Alberta forest fires in Canada with a $2,500 donation to a fund set up by current WWE Superstars Kevin Owens and Tyler Breeze.
