Early Estimated PPV Buys For AEW’s All Out Event

AEW held their All Out PPV Event last September 4, with several huge matches taking place on the show and a number of big stars competing on the event. AEW’s All Out was stacked from top to bottom, which was headlined by Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against CM Punk.

Dave Meltzer reported on a recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the early estimated PPV buys for the 2022 AEW All Out Event is between 135,000 and 142,000 and that this year’s All Out Event is “well below both Revolution and Double Or Nothing.” These figures are reportedly based on the United States cable and satellite numbers. The 2021 AEW All Out PPV did nearly 205,000 buys with the show featuring CM Punk’s first match back since his departure from the WWE in 2014.

CM Punk ended up winning the main event of the 2022 AEW All Out PPV, but CM Punk suffered a torn left triceps during the match. Following the AEW All Out PPV, a huge brawl broke out between CM Punk, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Kenny Omega and Ace Steel. The promotion has since stripped CM Punk of the AEW World Title and Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks of the AEW World Trios Championships. A new AEW World Trios Champions was crowned during last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite in The Death Triangle and Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega have been indefinitely suspended.
