Final Two Matches Revealed In TNT Championship Tournament

It was previously reported that All Elite Wrestling recently made an announcement that they will be holding their first-ever TNT Championship Tournament, which is set to begin next Wednesday, April 8th on Dynamite and culminate at their 2020 Double Or Nothing PPV Event.

The TNT Championship Tournament is reportedly a single elimination 8-Man Tournament, where the winner will receive the TNT Championship belt at the tournament’s finals at Double Or Nothing on Saturday, May 23rd in Las Vegas.

This past Tuesday night’s episode of AEW Dark saw the first two matches of the tournament be announced. Those matches are “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears and Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin. The winners of those two matches will then face each other in the semi-finals of the first-ever TNT Championship Tournament.

Last night’s episode of Dynamite would then see the final two matches of the tournament be announced. Those matches are Kip Sabian vs. Dustin Rhodes as well as Lance Archer vs. Colt Cabana.
