Former WWE Star Jeff Hardy Reveals He Is “Going To AEW”

WWE may have made the biggest mistake of their life, when they released pro wrestling legend and one-half of The Hardy Boyz in Jeff Hardy last December 9th, 2021 due to an unusual incident that occurred at a WWE Live Event, where he competed in a 6-Man Tag Team Match, but abruptly left the match and ran through the crowd. There were reports that indicated WWE wanted to bring Jeff Hardy back and an offer was even made for Jeff to be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame after he tested negative on a drug test, but The Charismatic Enigma reportedly turned them down.

Despite Jeff being under a 90-day non-compete clause with the WWE, which means he will only be a free agent by Wednesday, March 9th, there have already been a number of hints and teases about him joining All Elite Wrestling soon and it has been heavily rumored as well for a number of weeks now that he is definitely on his way to the company.

Professional wrestling legend “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy had a conversation with Jared Myers backstage at one of his recent concerts and emphatically revealed that he is going to AEW and that he is nervous and excited to be heading to the promotion.

This is what Jeff Hardy said:

“I’m going to AEW.” “I’m so excited, until this morning I didn’t really know. I’m so nervous and excited.”

Jeff Hardy also revealed that he and his brother Matt have indie dates lined up, starting March 12 at a Big Time Wrestling Event in Webster, Massachusetts and it looks like the legendary tag team will be teaming up on AEW TV as well if Jeff Hardy does end up signing with the company. There is no word yet on when Jeff Hardy will be making his AEW debut, but with his non-compete clause with WWE soon coming to an end, it is possible that we may see The Charismatic Enigma make his debut on the Match 9th post Revolution episode of Dynamite.
