Hager On Stephanie’s Comment On WWE’s Award, Yang Responds

The WWE was recently named the 2020 Corporation of the Year in the PRNEWS CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and Nonprofit Awards. WWE’s Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon would then take to Twitter and comment on the incredible honor.

Stephanie McMahon said,

“So proud of the @WWECommunity team & all their hard work to make @WWE the 2020 Corporation of the Year at this year’s @PRNews CSR & Nonprofit Awards! WWE’s mission is to put smiles on faces & it could not be done without the hard work & passion of this incredible team!”

Top AEW Star and former WWE Star Jake Hager would then take to Twitter himself and respond to Stephanie McMahon’s comments, saying that lying about over 37M in quarterly profits can be reason enough to fire over 300 people during a pandemic and be put in a category for an award.

Hager also tagged former Democratic Presidential candidate Andrew Yang in his reply who talked against the WWE regarding their new policy on ending third-party platforms such as Twitch accounts of their Superstars.

Andrew Yang would then take to his Twitter as well and say that time will change under new leadership. Stephanie McMahon has yet to respond to Jake Hager or Andrew Yang’s reply to her comment as of this writing.
