Hangman Page And Kenny Omega Becomes New AEW Tag Champions

Last night’s Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea Cruise: Part Deux edition of AEW Dynamite saw The Elite (“Hangman” Adam Page and Kenny Omega) defeat former AEW World Tag Team Champions SCU (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions. Hangman Page and Kenny Omega won the match via pinfall with Page hitting Kazarian with a Buck Shot Lariat.

Following the match, The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) made their way out to celebrate with Hangman Page and Kenny Omega, but Hangman Page left the ring and drank some beer with the fans. This is the first time in the history of AEW that a championship title changed hands.

SCU (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) won the AEW World Tag Team Titles back on the October 30th episode of AEW Dynamite by defeating The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) in the finals of the AEW World Tag Team Championship tournament.
