Hangman vs. Danielson Set For Winter Is Coming Dynamite Show

A massive announcement was recently made by AEW President Tony Khan that AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page will be defending his AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson on the special “Winter Is Coming” episode of AEW Dynamite. The AEW World Title Match was then confirmed by AEW shortly after Khan’s massive announcement.

Last month’s Full Gear PPV saw Bryan Danielson become the new #1 Contender to Page’s AEW World Title, when he defeated Miro in the finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament. “Hangman” Adam Page would also become the new AEW World Champion at Full Gear, when he defeated Kenny Omega. Prior to his match against Hangman Page on the “Winter Is Coming” special episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson has been put in a storyline, where he faces members of The Dark Order to prepare for the title match.

Danielson defeated Evil Uno on the November 17th episode of Dynamite, then he defeated Colt Cabana on last week’s episode of Dynamite. Last night’s Dynamite then saw Bryan Danielson beat Alan “5” Angels.

The special “Winter Is Coming” episode of AEW Dynamite is set to take place on Wednesday, December 15 from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. Last year’s “Winter Is Coming” special featured the debut of Sting, so it looks like this year’s card will be stacked from top to bottom as well.
