Injured AEW Star Reportedly In Chicago For All Out Weekend

AEW Star Kip Sabian had a run-in with his former tag partner the AEW TNT Champion Miro in a backstage segment during an episode of Dynamite this past April, where Sabian was brutally beaten down by Miro. Miro would then slam a metal door on Sabian’s wrist, which would lead to Kip Sabian screaming in pain and the segment would end with Miro hugging Sabian and telling him, “I forgive you.”

It was reported at the time that the segment was done as a way to write Kip off of AEW TV as Kip took to his Twitter and revealed that he will need to undergo surgery as he has been dealing with injuries since last December and the promotion used the backstage segment of Miro attacking Sabian as a way to keep him out of AEW TV.

According to Fightful Select, Kip Sabian is in Chicago for All Out weekend, but it is unclear whether or not he will be making an appearance at this Sunday’s All Out PPV, though it’s possible that Sabian appears to stand in the corner of his wife, Penelope Ford, for her match on the show or he appears to get his revenge on AEW TNT Champion Miro. The report also states that no plans have been made or they have not been told of anything involving Kip Sabian for All Out.

Kip Sabian took to his Twitter last May and revealed that the surgery he had on his injured arm was a success. Even though it seems that Sabian is blaming Miro for his injury, a report by Fightful Select revealed that they were told back in late April that the reason Kip has been out of in-ring action in over a month after returning from an injury that sidelined him for two months prior to that is due to Sabian being “on the shelf” once again.

Sabian last competed for AEW on the March 24th episode of Dynamite, where he and Miro lost the Arcade Anarchy Match to Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy. There is no word yet on how long Sabian will be out of action, but updates will be provided as it becomes available.
