WWE Hall of Famer and AEW Star Mark Henry, who has been helping younger talent in All Elite Wrestling backstage in a coaching capacity, recently appeared on Busted Open Radio and talked about how he made his return to the squared circle to help teach the bigger talents and how he is currently in pain and beat up. Mark Henry also revealed that he may have to undergo shoulder surgery.
This is what Mark Henry said:
“I recently got in the ring and started working with the big guys. Right now, I am still in pain and I am just letting you know. As your girl Janet said to me, ‘don’t get in there, in the ring, and lose your mind.’” “I only know one way, so I did get in there and lose my mind, and I’m beat up. I think I am going to have to have surgery on my shoulder.”
Mark Henry made his AEW debut during this past May’s Double or Nothing PPV Event and it was announced then that he will be a part of the commentary team on AEW Rampage and he will also be a coach. It was then announced a few days later that Mark Henry has signed a multi-year deal with the promotion as an expert analyst, coach, scout and mentor and he will also serve as an analyst on the broadcast team.
