Miro Has Reportedly Been Working With A Hamstring Injury

Fightful Select reports that AEW Star Miro has been dealing with a hamstring injury as of late, while still competing in matches, which is the reason for his leg to be taped up during those matches. Miro has only wrestled on two matchups since losing the AEW TNT Title to Sammy Guevara on the September 29 episode of AEW Dynamite, but he was not originally scheduled to compete in either of them. Miro first replaced Jon Moxley in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament, where he defeated Orange Cassidy on the November 3 episode of Dynamite. Miro then lost to Bryan Danielson in the finals of the tournament at the Full Gear PPV Event and reportedly worked both of those matches with the injury.

There is no word yet on when Miro will be making his AEW return, but a new “Miro vs. God” promo aired on AEW Rampage this past Saturday night, which could mean that he will return to in-ring action soon. Miro last competed for AEW at the Full Gear PPV Event last November 13th.
