More On CM Punk’s Starrcast Appearance, Talks Meeting Fans

As previously reported, former WWE Superstar CM Punk will be making an appearance at the huge Starrcast III Convention. The event is scheduled to take place next month in Chicago, Illinois during Labor Day weekend.

According to Sports Illustrated, CM Punk will be participating in a one-on-one interview as well as a bunch of meet and greet sessions at the Starrcast III Convention, but he will not be making an appearance at the All Out PPV Event later that same night.

CM Punk was interviewed by Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso on a number of topics including him interacting with wrestling fans all across the globe and what it means for him to do meet and greets as well as signings.

This is what CM Punk said: “A highlight is easily anytime anyone has a story.” “I do about one signing a year and the best part is always finding out how you’ve touched people’s lives in a meaningful way. A lot of it can be heavy; helped someone get clean, helped somehow with the loss of a loved one. I am always touched to know the private intimate stories people have.”

Knowing the weekend will be attracting fans from all over the world for AEW, and since I normally only do one signing a year, it’s a great way to maybe meet people that normally I wouldn’t get the chance to otherwise. Looking forward to meeting everyone there.”

Starrcast Creator Conrad Thompson then said that wrestling fans will finally get what they have been wanting for a long time and that is CM Punk with a live mic, but there is no word yet on who will be doing the one-on-one interview with CM Punk.

This is what Conrad Thompson said: “We wanted to bring something unique and that hasn’t been done before at Starrcast.” “I’ve always wanted to have Punk at Starrcast but the timing was never right, and I’m really excited that the stars have aligned for this August. Fans are going to get what they’ve wanted for a long time, and that is CM Punk with a live mic. It’s going to happen at Starrcast.”
