Jon Moxley is one of the biggest, if not the biggest and most talked-about star in pro wrestling today. Ever since leaving WWE, he has wrestled all around the globe including All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling. In his NJPW in-ring debut, Jon Moxley won the IWGP United States Title by defeating Juice Robinson. He even entered himself in the G1 Climax Tournament where he has won a few matches.
Moxley made his All Elite Wrestling debut by showing up after the main event of Double Or Nothing and laying Kenny Omega out. At Fyter Fest, Kenny Omega returned the favor and beat the living hell out of Jon Moxley. The two are set to face each other at the upcoming AEW All Out PPV Event.
Jon Moxley was recently interviewed by Chris Van Vliet on his upcoming match against Kenny Omega at AEW All Out and he sent Omega quite the warning.
This is what Jon Moxley said: “I only know one speed, I put my foot on the gas pedal and I press it to the floor. I love wrestling and I do it every day 24/7, for a while that got taken away from me and I’m never going to let that get taken away again. At this point Kenny Omega is a myth, he’s lore, he’s legend, he’s this idea, the legend of Kenny Omega, the greatest wrestler that ever lived.”
“Whether or not I buy the legend of Kenny Omega, believe me, brother I’m taking it very very seriously. That’s why I’m going all over Japan learning all your styles, learning all your tricks of the trade, learning everything about who you are, what you do, where you come from.”
“Kenny Omega The Myth seems to think I’m some kind of joke, well we’re going to be in the ring together and I assure you that’s it’s not going to be the least bit funny when I break your fking jaw. This ain’t a fking video game dude, you only get one life. I’m trying to hurt you, I’m trying to injure you and I’m going to.”
