This Wednesday’s Winter Is Coming special episode of Dynamite is shaping up to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest episode of Dynamite the company has had in quite a while, maybe even in the show’s history as the card is stacked from top to bottom, with AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page set to defend his title against Bryan Danielson in the main event and MJF set to take on Dante Martin in the finals of the Dynamite Diamond Ring Match.
According to WrestleTix, 5,818 of the 6,180 tickets for this Wednesday’s Winter Is Coming special AEW Dynamite episode have already been sold, which is about 94%, and that means that only 362 tickets are left to be purchased at the time it was posted.
This is not the first time AEW has held an event in the venue, where Winter Is Coming will take place as AEW has booked this venue for Fyter Fest Night 2, which was headlined by Chris Jericho facing Nick Gage in a Deathmatch. A Reddit user named “fellongreydaze” mentioned that over the years AEW’s growth at the Curtis Culwell Center has increased impressively, with the promotion having 4,700 live fans in attendance on the December 11th, 2019 episode of Dynamite, 5,688 fans in attendance on the July 21st, 2021 episode of Dynamite and 6,180 fans in attendance on the December 15th, 2021 episode of Dynamite.
The promotion has reportedly been selling out shows in majority of the cities they have been going to and that includes the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York, in which the WWE was struggling to sell out and AEW sold over 8,000 tickets. This coming Wednesday’s Winter Is Coming AEW Dynamite special is set to take place from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, with the doors set to open at 6PM ET.
