Jay Briscoe (real name Jamin Pugh), who is one-half of one of the greatest tag teams in pro wrestling and the greatest tag team in the history of ROH, recently passed away at the age of 38. AEW President and CEO Tony Khan, who is also the owner of ROH, announced the heart-wrenching and depressing news on his Twitter, which was later followed up by PWInsider.com that Jay passed away from a car accident.
We here at ProWrestlingNewsHub.com would like to send out our deepest condolences to the Pugh/Briscoe family during this time.

Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away. Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he was a star in ROH for over 20 years, from the first show until today.— Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) January 18, 2023
Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH, reigning as champions to this day. We'll do whatever we can to support his family.
Rest In Peace Jamin
