Several Wrestling Promotions Interested In Former WWE Star

Former WWE Star Isaiah “Swerve” Scott is no longer under a 90-day non-compete clause with the company as several days back his non-compete clause expired and he officially became a free agent. There were a number of pro wrestling promotions interested in signing the former WWE Superstar shortly following his release, including top promotions like AEW and NJPW.

According to Fightful Select, not only do multiple wrestling companies have an interest in the former WWE Superstar, but there is also a major wrestling promotion that already has plans in place for him. It was also mentioned on the report that AEW asked about his status very early in his free agency, so that they can gauge when he would be available and NJPW also had talks in regards to using him in the future. There was also an expectation that MLW will reach out to Swerve sometime soon.

Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, who was a former one-time WWE NXT Cruiserweight Champion and the leader of Hit Row, will reportedly be using his Shane “Swerve” Strickland ring name moving forward.
