TNT Championship Tournament Semis Set, Next Week’s Dynamite

Last night’s episode of Dynamite saw two TNT Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Matches take place. The first match featured Darby Allin defeating Sammy Guevara, while the second match saw Dustin Rhodes defeat Kip Sabian. Due to their victories, Darby Allin will now be facing Cody Rhodes in the semis, while Dustin Rhodes is now set to go against Lance Archer also in the semis.

Both Darby Allin vs. “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes vs. Lance Archer are set to take place during next week’s episode of Dynamite. Next week’s episode of Dynamite will also see “The Exalted One” Brodie Lee face Marko Stunt, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley have an in-ring segment and Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) face Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian in a No Disqualification Tag Team Match.

The finals of the TNT Championship Tournament is scheduled to take place at AEW Double or Nothing on Saturday, May 23rd, which was originally scheduled to take place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, but will now take place in a yet to be determined location due to the coronavirus pandemic.
