Tony Khan Purchased Rights To Song Used In Jon Huber Tribute

This past Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite was the Brodie Lee Tribute show and it was one of the most, if not the most heart-felt and memorable tribute shows in the history of pro wrestling. AEW CEO and President Tony Khan made it absolutely certain that the Brodie Lee Tribute Dynamite will not only be as memorable as it already was but that it will live on forever in the hearts and minds of Brodie Lee’s family and friends as well as all of AEW’s fans around the world.

Khan purchased the rights to the song that was used on the Brodie Lee Tribute show, which is the “Ol’ 55” song by Tom Waits. Immediately following the show, Tony Khan took to Twitter and thanked all the fans as well as everyone else for tuning in to the show. Khan also revealed that he purchased the rights to the “Ol’ 55” song so that Brodie Lee’s tribute will last forever.

This is what Tony Khan said:

“Thank you everyone who joined us tonight on #AEWDynamite to celebrate the life of Jon Huber, known to fans as Mr. Brodie Lee. It was a great honor to host his family Amanda, Brodie & Nolan. I bought the rights to Ol’ 55 by Tom Waits in perpetuity so that tribute will last forever.”
