Top AEW Star Currently Working Through An Injury

Several top All Elite Wrestling Stars have been dealing with injuries for quite some time now, but it seems that a number of them could be on their way back to the promotion soon. One-half of the current ROH World, AAA and IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions in Dax Harwood is the latest star in All Elite Wrestling to be dealing with some sort of an injury as he revealed at the Forbidden Door PPV Event on June 26 that he suffered a shoulder injury following FTR’s matchup against United Empire and Roppongi Vice for the ROH World and IWGP Tag Team Championships.

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Harwood is currently suffering from a torn labrum, which he is working through and following the match at ROH Death Before Dishonor against Mark and Jay Briscoe, Harwood was also dealing with a swollen eye as well as a stiff neck and his shoulder actually became worse than how it initially was.

Aside from Dax Harwood, fellow top AEW Star Adam Cole has been dealing with a torn labrum as well and he has been out of in-ring action for a few months due to the injury. Despite the injury, Cole pushed through the pain and kept working the Forbidden Door PPV until he suffered a concussion. We could see Cole make his return to AEW soon, but no updates were provided yet on how long he could remain on the sidelines and no details were provided as well on the severity and timetable of Harwood’s injury.
