Video’s Surface Showing AEW Announcer Excalibur Using N-Word

There could be a reason why Excalibur was off TV yesterday and it has anything to do with COVID-19 testing. AEW announcer Tony Schiavone missed a live taping due to a late COVID-19 test but it was mentioned why on the air. In the case of Excalibur, not a word and we might know why.

Yesterday videos surfaced online of Excalibur using the N-Word. This was not in a conversation, text chat, or said during a podcast but was part of pro wrestling promos taped years ago.

One video shows Excalibur trying to use the racial slur in a “comical way.” The second video was not trying to be funny but intended to draw heat from the crowd. Both make you scratch your head and say, what was he thinking. This wasn’t even a good idea back then.

WWE superstar Kevin Owens was also part of the clip from their days at PWG. He also dropped the N-Word after Excalibur in the clip

Excalibur and Tony Khan have yet to comment on these videos. But one can infer this could be the reason he was off TV and might be taking a 30-day break.
