WarnerMedia And Khan On Last Week’s Dynamite Ratings Success

As previously reported, last week’s episode of Dynamite was able to draw their largest audience since their debut episode back in October of 2019, when they garnered a total of 1.219 million viewers with a rating of 0.44 in the 18-49 key demo. This was the first episode of Dynamite to air unopposed after WWE NXT moved to Tuesday nights.

Due to AEW Dynamite‘s ratings success on last week’s episode, WarnerMedia issued a press release just recently to tout the ratings success. WarnerMedia revealed AEW Dynamite on TNT achieved great numbers during last Wednesday’s episode and this is Dynamite’s most-watched episode since the series launched on October 2nd, 2019. WarnerMedia also said that Week 80 of AEW Dynamite was the most-watched episode of the year among all key demos and last week’s Dynamite episode was also the most-watched episode of both 2020 and 2021 among total viewers and P25-54 as well as among P18-49 and P18-34, where it became the most-watched episode since Week 62 on December 9th, 2020.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan also commented in the success of Dynamite’s ratings. He said they are always grateful for the support of every wrestling fan who watches AEW.

Khan also said last Wednesday night’s audience of over 1.2 million viewers was an important milestone for the company and for every one of their fans, including the viewers who have been with them from the beginning, and the new fans who joined them for the first time. He then said it’s a great time to be a wrestling fan and now is a great time to join the Revolution and join AEW every week on TNT.

TNT’s AEW: DYNAMITE achieved great numbers during last Wednesday’s episode on April 14, which ranked as the show’s most watched episode since the series launched on October 2, 2019. See highlights below:

  • Week 80 of AEW was the most watched episode of the year among all key demos.

– Week 80 was the most watched episode of both 2020 and 2021 among total viewers (best since the series’ premiere on 10/2/19) and P25-54 (best since Week 3 on 10/16/19)

– Among P18-49 and P18-34, it was the most watched episode since Week 62 on 12/9/20
