Last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw the TNT Championship Tournament begin with “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes facing Shawn Spears in a one-on-one match. The match would see Cody come out on top and advance in the next round of the TNT Championship Tournament.
Due to his win, Cody will now face the winner of the Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin Match.
Next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite will see another first round match take place between Lance Archer and Colt Cabana, with the winner of that match taking on either Kip Sabian or Dustin Rhodes. The finals of the TNT Championship Tournament is scheduled to take place at AEW Double or Nothing on May 23rd.
