WWE Cancels House Show On Same Night As AEW All Out

Over the past year, WWE has been canceling their live house show events do to poor attendance numbers. Events will be booked, tickets will go on sale and if they don’t have enough interest and tickets don’t sell they cancel. It is a trend we see more and more as WWE’s ratings and interest is down.

Over the past few days, WWE has removed a few live events from their touring schedule. The events were Bossier City on August 23rd, Mobile, Alabama on August 25th, and Bangor, Maine on August 30th.

Recently WWE has also pulled out of house shows on August 31st in Portland, Maine and August 24th in Lafayette, Louisiana. It is interesting to note that the Portland Maine show is on the same night as AEW’s All Out.

One could speculate that poor ticket sales could be due to the fact that pro wrestling fans want to watch AEW’s All Out PPV instead of spending their money on a meaningless WWE house show.

The effect of a true second option in pro wrestling has to impact the WWE’s bottom line, and we might be seeing it already.

Did you ever think that WWE is actually happy that there is actually other organizations people find interesting to see at least one time so they don’t have to over work there superstars
