Why Wrestling is Worth Your Attention

In our beloved country, such a word as wrestling immediately causes a lot of discussions. As a rule, this is because the winner of the matches is predetermined and the fights themselves happen “differently”. But wrestling itself is interesting and exciting enough, and it is not a staged mauling.

Wrestling is as much art like movies and TV series (to them, by the way, it is closer). By the way, make sure you have a lot of free time for shows like that. When I was a student, I always asked my peers to do my essay for money. It saved a lot of my time that days.

So in this article, I want to show you and prove that wrestling is no worse than any other sport, and somewhere even better.

There are a lot of wrestling companies, but in order not to drag it all out, we will take a look at the two most important ones, which are on everyone’s radar: WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and NJPW (New Japan Pro-Wrestling). And before that, we’ll take a look at the various components of wrestling that make up the big picture.

STORYLINE

The story is in many ways the main driving force behind the match. For the most part, the very perception of the match depends on how the story has been told between the wrestlers. Also of greater importance is the anthemic (the character played by the wrestler) and the ability to show up on the microphone (promo). All of this affects the psychology between wrestlers, which affects the matches themselves.

For example, you can take a wrestler named Daniel Bryan. He is an underdog, namely a talented wrestler who does not get a serious promotion. He’s been constantly getting stonewalled by management, explaining that he doesn’t look like a main eventer (a wrestler who participates in big stories, usually for the company’s top title) and he doesn’t belong here. He was constantly out of luck, but he wasn’t discouraged and created the “YES” movement, which helped him break through and gets a shot at the main event championship at the (WWE) Wrestlemania main event. And in a rather emotional bout, overcoming all the odds, he makes his triumph and wins the gold. At this time, everyone in the arena is screaming YES, the emotions at such moments are unforgettable.

If we talk about anthems and promos, they complement each other. The image of the wrestler, coupled with his charisma, makes you take an interest in the wrestler and follow his every action and word. I can think of many wrestlers, but I want to highlight Kenny Omega. He’s a terrific wrestler who is not lacking in charisma, ring-skill (ability in the ring). He made himself by rising from the bottom. His promos are a delight.

WWE

The most famous company in the nation, which is almost a monopoly in this business. Thanks in large part to it, wrestling is what it is. Many people who started watching wrestling, started with this company and its shows. And it would seem that since WWE is a leader in its business, then the quality of the show is at its best. But this is not the case.

This company employs some of the best wrestlers in the world. But unfortunately at the forefront, as a rule, are not the most talented wrestlers who can not always show what has to show wrestler level main eventer. Of course, this is not always the case. There were times when decent people got what they deserved. But it was not enough and not always it was well done. From this comes the next problem of the company, namely the plots or as they are called funds.

The company had a lot of good plots (for example with the same Bryan), but unfortunately, now there are fewer and fewer. Also aggravates the matter is that sometimes wrestlers are not presented in the light they deserve. And because of this, matches can turn into a circus.

But it’s not all bad. Sometimes there are worthwhile matches, and the matches themselves can be exciting. NXT is a case in point. It’s a sister show that has a different roster and different management. Things sometimes happen there (often) that bypass the main show. An example of this is the confrontation between Neville and Sami Zane. Anyway, there’s good stuff in the main show too, but unfortunately not as often as we’d like.

NJPW

NJPW is a Japanese wrestling company known around the world. This company has some of the best matches in the world (all the hypos are from there). This company doesn’t have a big stake in the story as WWE does. But regardless; the confrontations, gimmicks, and matches are head and shoulders above WWE. In NJPW, the confrontations themselves are built around titles, no personal grudges. And that’s the kind of storylines that make for something awesome.

Wrestlers themselves are unique enough, both in the ring and on the microphone (as in the case of WWE, only in NJPW wrestlers more interesting). Everyone will find someone to their liking. A huge number of matches that went down in history. Matches that sometimes broke the scale of all possible grades. All in all, it’s worth seeing, and it’s worth touching.

Of course, sometimes there are bad matches, bad decisions, but as mentioned above. All this pays off with great wrestling, cool moments, and an exciting story, the denouement of which you look forward to.

I hope you enjoyed this article and you want to dive into this unique world. And help you out with a list of matches to recommend.
