Impact Wrestling Ratings & Viewership Up for First Episode of 2021

Showbuzz Daily today released the ratings and viewership for Tuesday’s episode of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV. Both the ratings and viewership were up ever so slightly as the show returned with new content as Impact put on its first episode of 2021.

Tuesday night’s episode brought in 148,000 viewers. The show also gained a 0.04 rating in the P18-49 key demographic. This is considered by many to be the most significant demographic for many a TV station. This is because this market is considered to be the future and the present.

These increased figures could be due to the fact that Impact wrestling closed out last year with back to back best of 2020 specials. This also included an end of the year award section. The best of 2020 part 2 special only drew a 0.01 rating in the p18-49 key demographic.

During this week’s episode, AEW champion Kenny Omega made an appearance to advance and promote his storyline with The Good Brothers and Rich Swann. Impact also found themselves in the Cable Top 150 rankings at No. 140 for Tuesday night. Last week’s Best of 2020 special was also able to make it onto the rankings.
