Stipulation For IMPACT World Title Match At Slammiversary Set

At IMPACT Wrestling’s Rebellion PPV Event this past April, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, who is the AAA Mega Champion as well, became the IMPACT World Champion when he beat Rich Swann. The IMPACT World Champion has only defended the IMPACT World Title on one occasion since winning it from Swann when he retained over Moose at IMPACT’s Against All Odds PPV Event last June 12th. Omega is set to defend his IMPACT World Title next against Sami Callihan at the Slammiversary PPV this Saturday, July 17th.

When the IMPACT World Title Match between the IMPACT World Champion Kenny Omega and Sami Callihan was initially announced, it was believed to be a regular championship match, but since then a stipulation was announced when Callihan issued the challenge via Twitter and despite Omega not responding yet, it was still made official by IMPACT Wrestling via their Twitter account and website.

IMPACT World Champion Kenny Omega will now defend his IMPACT World Championship against Sami Callihan at Saturday’s Slammiversary PPV in a No DQ Match. This will only be Omega’s second IMPACT World Title defense.

Slammiversary is set to take place this Saturday, July 17 from Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee with a limited number of fans in attendance.
