Backstage News On Vince McMahon Still Running WWE’s Creative

Since his sexual misconduct and allegations were brought forward and he was forced to retire from the WWE, Vince McMahon stepped down from his duties as WWE’s CEO, Chairman and Head of Creative, but fans are still wondering if Vince is still running the show from the shadows or if he’s still pulling some strings. Even a number of former WWE Superstars have noted that things will not really change in WWE, but a report has stated that Vince McMahon is really gone from the company.

PWInsider.com reports that beyond owning the majority of WWE’s stock, Vince McMahon isn’t involved in any official company capacity and he isn’t even legally allowed to hire and fire anyone. Vince hasn’t been to WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut as well since his resignation after the Wall Street Journal stories broke out and his name was removed from the internal list of performers in the WWE as well as from the backstage area. There isn’t a room as well designated as “Vince’s Office” and it has now been changed to an office for the CEO and for Head of Talent Relations Triple H.

According to Fightful Select, WWE sources have stated that it couldn’t be any clearer that McMahon is no longer running things in the company as if Vince was still involved in any capacity then this past month’s WWE SummerSlam Event or the episode of WWE Monday Night RAW following WWE SummerSlam won’t be booked the way it was and it would not have looked the way it did like Kai being brought back and WWE RAW would have had several rematches from WWE SummerSlam.

Triple H has reportedly worked to make the backstage environment in the WWE much better and there are even a number of people in WWE who said that there were situations in the past that they need to wait on to get a clearance from Vince McMahon, but that has not been the case since Vince’s retirement was announced last month.
