Bray Wyatt Passed Away In His Sleep, Didn’t Have A Defibrillator

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com reported that Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) got COVID earlier this year and then suffered a heart attack, which exacerbated his heart issues and would ultimately lead to his tragic passing. According to TMZ, Bray Wyatt suffered a series of heart complications during the last few months of his life and was given a defibrillator by his doctors, but his doctor-recommended heart defibrillator was not with him when his body was found after reportedly passing away in his sleep.

TMZ would come accross law enforcement records that indicated Wyatt telling his fiancee JoJo Offerman this past Thursday that he was going to take a nap, then about an hour later, the alarm started going off without stopping. JoJo’s attention was caught by the alarm and that is what caused Bray’s fiancee to get worried and would lead to her finding him in bed not breathing. TMZ also stated that Wyatt was turning blue by the time JoJo found him. 911 was then called as JoJo’s mother attempted CPR, but Bray was pronounced dead at the hospital.

There is no word yet on if the defibrillator would have saved Wyatt’s life, but TMZ did state that he had a weak lower part of his heart and he was hospitalized just a week prior to his death and the WWE Star was even scheduled for a follow-up appointment on the day he passed away. Police did say that it was found inside his car in the driveway.
