Seth Rollins Says CM Punk Should Stay Away From WWE

All Elite Wrestling held their All Out PPV Event last September 4th from the NOW Arena in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Immediately following the All Out PPV Event, a media scrum would take place and a major brawl would ensue between CM Punk, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Ace Steel following CM Punk’s comments on The Elite and that would lead to AEW stripping Punk and the Elite of their championships and being suspended indefinitely alongside AEW producer Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels, Michael Nakazawa and Brandon Cutler.

Since then, Ace Steel was fired from All Elite Wrestling and The Elite returned to in-ring action and is now the new AEW World Trios Champions after competing in a Best Of 7 series against Death Triangle (PAC, Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix). CM Punk suffered a torn triceps and was required to undergo surgery, so he was going to miss time anyway even though he wasn’t suspended by AEW CEO Tony Khan. It was also reported in the past that Punk and AEW were in talks about a potential contract buyout, with Punk being the one to push for it and that CM Punk may return to the WWE and possibly even compete at The Grandest Stage Of Them All, but it looks like there is one top WWE Superstar who doesn’t want the former WWE and AEW World Champion to return to the company.

Former WWE Champion and WWE Universal Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins spoke with Wrestling Inc’s Nick Hausman and made it perfectly clear that he does not want Punk to return to the WWE. Rollins said the former AEW World Champion should stay away from him and the WWE forever because CM Punk is a jerk and a cancer to the pro wrestling industry.

This is what Seth “Freakin” Rollins said:

“Oh Philly Phil, stay away. Stay away, you cancer. Get away from me forever. I don’t like Phil, he’s a jerk. Did we just figure that out, did we just figure that out? He’s a jerk…we figured it out over there, we knew it over here. I don’t want him back. Go do something else. Bye bye, see ya later.”

Punk has reportedly been put on ice by AEW President and CEO Tony Khan as they have no plans or ideas how to use him and there has been no talk either if they will be releasing him. A number of top stars in AEW don’t want to see CM Punk return to the company as well, but there are reportedly a few people who want Punk back as they say that he has been a great presence backstage and they would love to see him make his return.
